BIOGRAPHY

I’m Mixtime, a Colombian DJ and radio creator from Medellín who has dedicated his life to music. My journey started back in 1996 on community radio, where I discovered the magic of connecting with people through sound and stories. That passion soon led me to be part of some of the most influential radio stations in my city and across Colombia.
I worked at Veracruz Estéreo (1998-2002), joined La X 103.9 FM (2002-2006), the country’s very first electronic music station, and later became part of the reggaeton movement at Energía 97.9 FM (2006-2011). In 2011, I joined La Mega Medellín, and shortly after, I took on one of the most important challenges of my career: creating La Z Urbana 91.9 FM, a pioneering project developed alongside Todelar Radio, one of Colombia’s most iconic broadcasting networks with more than 70 years of history.
Later, I ventured into independent projects such as Brutal FM (on air between 2022 and 2023), which eventually evolved into B-Mor —a forward-thinking digital media platform where we create innovative sound content designed for the web, social media, and streaming platforms.
But my story doesn’t end behind the microphone. It also lives on the dancefloor. Electronic music has always been my greatest passion, and while urban sounds like reggaeton, dancehall, and rap gave me unforgettable experiences, today I’ve decided to return with full energy to my true roots: electronic music.
On my website, you’ll find the Radio Show section, where I regularly upload sets exploring different eras and trends of electronic music —a way to tell its story and live its present through sound.
At the end of the day, music is not just my job; it’s my life, my passion, and my way of connecting with people everywhere. 🎶
